A-Faust is a project created by multimedia artist and director Daniel Belquer with performactor Evandro Manchini, both from Brazil. Using Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa’s ‘Faust’ as our guiding text, we structured the show in order to bring poetry as an element of dialogue and friction with the actor’s corporeality and the visual and sonorous factors. Advanced digital technology is also extensively employed.
